Our Story
Born from a designer's vision. Built for Las Vegas Filipinos.
Marikit is a Filipino-owned boutique founded by fashion designer David Tupaz — a place where great style and Filipino community come together.
Our Story
How Marikit began
Marikit — meaning beautiful in Filipino — was founded by Las Vegas-based fashion designer David Tupaz as a boutique that could serve the Filipino community in a way no other shop in the city had before.
Located inside the Boulevard Mall as part of Las Vegas's growing Filipinotown, Marikit carries a thoughtfully curated mix: contemporary women's fashion, celebrated Filipino labels — The Mestizo, Jean Amour Couture, and Mahal Kita by Jean Amour — and exclusive past-season pieces from David Tupaz Couture.
The shop is primarily women's clothing and accessories, with a selection of men's designs woven in. It's a place where Las Vegas Filipinos can find both the familiar and the unexpected — designer quality at accessible prices, right in their own neighborhood.
Founded by a Filipino Designer
Marikit was created by David Tupaz, a fashion designer with deep roots in the Filipino community. Every buying decision reflects his trained eye for quality, fit, and style.
Women's Fashion, Front and Center
Our shop is built around women — their style, their occasions, their everyday lives. From casual to elevated, we carry clothing that works for real women in Las Vegas.
Filipino Brands Alongside Mainstream
We carry Filipino labels — The Mestizo, Jean Amour Couture, and Mahal Kita by Jean Amour — alongside mainstream fashion, because great style doesn't have a single origin.
Exclusive Past-Season Designer Pieces
Only at Marikit can you find past-season pieces from David Tupaz Couture and Jean Amour Couture. Designer quality, limited availability — a perk of shopping with us.
Filipinotown Las Vegas
Part of something bigger
Marikit is proud to be part of Las Vegas's new Filipinotown, located at the historic Boulevard Mall on Maryland Parkway — a landmark destination for the Filipino community in Southern Nevada.
Filipinotown Las Vegas is a community-driven initiative creating a permanent cultural and commercial hub for the Filipino diaspora — and Marikit is here to make sure fashion is part of that story.
